The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology is to enable learners to gain the necessary underpinning knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology required by the complementary therapies, beauty therapy and sport and fitness industry.
The main knowledge the learner will develop is:
The anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body systems - to include the cell, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems

TRAINING COMPONENTS’ SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1:
Modules are divided into sections, with a quiz at the end of each section.
To recall specific facts, to define, describe and explain and show an understanding of all aspects of anatomy and physiology.
Then have the ability to apply the knowledge into all integrated content of the learning programme.Understand and explain, identify, analyse, evaluate and judge the theoretical learning area concepts underlying holistic massage, anatomy and diseases and disorders.
Entry requirement
Learners accessing this qualification will have to demonstrate competence in:
Communication skills at NQF Level 3.
Mathematical literacy skills at NQF Level 3.
Exit
The learner must meet the exit criteria for the knowledge based component.
On successful completion the the student has the option to enrol for the ITEC International Exams at additional cost Beautiko Certificate of Completion.
