This qualification is for learners who want to work within the beauty industry.
The qualification consists of
4 mandatory units
The main skills the learner will perform are:
Application of individual eyelash extensions to include carrying out skin tests, products, tools and techniques to suit the client’s treatment needs.
Working within the beauty related industries.
Knowledge about related health and safety and client care and communication
The related knowledge and understanding required to perform the eyelash extensions treatments.
Understanding the structures that the learner will be working over
Recognition of hair structure, disease and disorder of the hair.
Duration
5 days onsite training once a week to include knowledge, practical and case study guidance

Entry requirement
Learners accessing this qualification will have to demonstrate
competence in:

Communication skills at NQF Level 3.

Mathematical literacy skills at NQF Level 3.
Exit
The learner must meet the exit criteria for the knowledge based component, the practical based component and the case based component

On successful completion the the student has the option to enrol for the ITEC International Exams at additional cost.
