VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies is a beauty therapy qualification aimed at learners with no formal background in beauty therapy training, who wish to gain access to additional study of advanced therapy treatments at

Electrical science Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety requirements, anatomy, physiology, and pathology and electrical science, alongside skin analysis and safe practice treatment protocols for facial skin care.
Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.

VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Radio Frequency
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Radio Frequency is an advanced therapy qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add this therapy to their repertoire of treatment offerings. Learners are required to hold a level 3 beauty therapy qualification or equivalent.

• Principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies
• Advanced consultation for non-medical aesthetic therapies
• Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetic therapies
• Provide radio frequency treatments
Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies.
They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing radio frequency treatments.
In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of level 4 non-medical aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly through employers.

VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Diploma in Laser and Light Treatments
Pre requisites :
The qualification is suitable for learners aged 18 and It is recommended that learners must hold a Level 2 Diploma for Beauty Therapy or equivalent OR then VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies
The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Diploma in Laser and Light Treatments is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide laser and light treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty industry. Units:
This qualification is for learners who want to work within the beauty industry. The qualification consists of 4 mandatory units .

Laser and light treatments for hair removal – to include consultation, skin and hair analysis, recognising contra-indications and contra-actions, carrying out relevant tests prior to treatment and adapting the treatment to the client’s needs

Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation – to include consultation, skin analysis (Fitzpatrick scale), recognising contra-indications and contra-actions, carrying out relevant tests prior to treatment and adapting the treatment to the client’s needs Managing health, safety and security in the salon.

VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Micro- Pigmentation Treatment
The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Micro-Pigmentation is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical skills and knowledge in order to provide micro-pigmentation treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty industry.
Pre requisites :
The qualification is suitable for learners aged 18 and It is recommended that learners must hold a Level 2 Diploma for Beauty Therapy or equivalent OR then VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies
This qualification is for learners who want to work within the beauty therapy industry. The qualification consists of 2 mandatory units with a total of 119 hours of Guided Learning (GL) to achieve the full qualification.
The main skills you will perform are:

Enhancing the client’s appearance using micro-pigmentation – to include consultation, skin (Fitzpatrick scale) and hair analysis, carrying out relevant tests prior to treatment, recognising contra-indications and contra-actions, treating different areas including eyes, brows and lips and adapting the treatment to the client’s specific needs

Managing health, safety and security in the salon
The learner will also develop knowledge about related health and safety, client care andcommunication which is essential in order to work and be successful in the beauty industry. This qualification also provides:

The related knowledge and understanding required to perform the micro-pigmentation treatment listed above effectively, in particular anatomy and physiology and common diseases and disorders that may affect when a client should or should not receive treatments.

Diploma in advanced skincare treatments
The main aim of the VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Diploma in Advanced Skincare is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide advanced skincare treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the beauty therapy industry.
