ITEC Certificate in facial electrical treatments
Level 2
This qualification is for learners who want to work within the beauty therapy industry.
The qualification consists of
4 mandatory units.
The main skills the learner will perform are:
Facial electrical treatments – used for anti-ageing purposes and the maintenance of a healthy skin
Health and safety and client care and communication.
knowledge and understanding required to perform the facial electrical treatments
Understanding the structures you are working over
Recognition of skin types and skin diseases
Reasons that may affect whether a client should or should not be treated. ​

Duration
5 months onsite training once a week to include knowledge, practical and case study guidance.

Entry requirement
Learners accessing this qualification will have to demonstrate
competence in:

Communication skills at NQF Level 3.

Mathematical literacy skills at NQF Level 3.

Have a facial and skincare level 2 or a Beauty Specialist Diploma in place as a pre requisite.
Exit
The learner must meet the exit criteria for the knowledge based component, the practical based component and the case based component
On successful completion the the student will be issued with a Beautiko Certificate of Competence
The student has the option to enrol for the ITEC International Exams at additional cost.
