The main skills the learner will perform are:
- Microdermabrasion treatments
To include consultation
Skin analysis
Recognising contraindications and contra-actions
Carrying out relevant tests prior to treatment and adapting the treatment to the client’s needs.
The learner will also learn about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential in order to work and be successful in the industry.

Learner guide/s will be emailed to learners that comprises out of Unit/Modules that are divided into sections, with a quiz at the end of each section.
Learners must email and submit the quiz sections.
Practical session will be arranged for learners that will be compulsory to attend onsite.
Case based studies will be introduced and explained and need to be emailed and submitted.

TRAINING COMPONENTS’ SPECIFIC OUTCOME 3: Undertake, evaluate and record (in a portfolio or research report) the findings of, complete treatment case studies, in which the required implements, equipment and materials are used.
