Learners are required to hold a Level 3 qualification in beauty therapy OR equivalent qualification including anatomy and physiology as a pre requisite.
Learners must achieve the mandatory unit :
- Enhance Appearance using DermaPlaning Techniques
- Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant requirements, regulations and safe practice treatment protocols for DermaPlaning.
- Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.
Entry requirement
Learners accessing this qualification will have to demonstrate competence in:
Communication skills at NQF Level 3.
Mathematical literacy skills at NQF Level 3.
The qualification is suitable for learners aged 18 and It is recommended that learners must hold a Level 2 Diploma for Beauty Therapy or equivalent OR then VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies.
