The VTCT Skills (ITEC) Level 3 Award in Client Care and Consultation is a qualification aimed at 16+learners, who wish to develop an understanding of the principles of client care when providing professional consultations prior to and following treatments.​
Learners will develop the knowledge and skills required to prepare for and carry out consultations,demonstrating a high standard of client care.
Learners will further develop their communicationskills and know how to identify and communicate realistic and appropriate treatment objectives.

TRAINING COMPONENTS’ SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1:
Modules are divided into sections, with a quiz at the end of each section.To recall specific facts, to define, describe and explain and show an understanding ofthe knowledge and skills required to prepare for and carry out consultations, demonstrating a high standard of client care.
Then have the ability to apply the knowledge into all integrated content of the learning programme.

To be awarded this qualification, learners must successfully achieve the following assessments: • Portfolio of evidence
Entry requirement
Learners accessing this qualification will have to demonstrate competence in:
Communication skills at NQF Level 3.
Mathematical literacy skills at NQF Level 3.
Exit
The learner must meet the exit criteria for the knowledge based component.On successful completion the the student has the option to enrol for the ITEC International Exams at additional cost .
